KPI dashboards can be clean if they are interactive

This is an example of a KPI dashboard created on Tableau that looks sharp and clean because it lacks a lot of labels which can cause it to be cluttered.  Notice how the Sales and Profit over time charts do not have dates or values in either axis. That is because you have to hover over the chart to get the data and value.  The charts looks slick and very pleasing in fact.  The colors are nicely coordinated.
